The BOQ modern bed is made in Germany of the highest quality materials.  This is a truly unique bed for those who like it simple and minimalistic.  The BOQ Bed appears airy, even in small rooms, due to its filigree design.

The fast and uncomplicated assembly is made possible by the resemblance of the frame and headboard to the solid manufacturing of a craftsman's workhorses.  You simply screw it tightly together and your done!  The classic wooden joints provide maximum stability.

The lacquered wooden frame and headboard are available in a variety of colors, from black, grey, and white, to bold yellows, greens, and reds.  The frame is constructed of solid oak wood.

Frame Sizes:

King: 2000mm x 2100mm x 780mm (78.74" x 82.68" x 30.71")

Queen: 1600mm x 2100mm x 780mm (62.99" x 82.68" x 30.71")

Other widths and lengths are available for non-standard mattresses.

Designer:

Michael Hilgers, a trained cabinetmaker and architect, founded his own office for interior and product design in 2001. This was followed by several interior design projects for international fashion labels. The (multi)functional, flexible and space-saving furniture developed in his Berlin studio has been awarded several times with the "Interior Innovation Award" and has already been shown in various museums.

Michael Hilgers, who sees himself as a "designer finder", combines inventiveness with minimalist design. It is particularly important to the designer that his products adapt to today's lifestyle. Especially in urban areas, space is becoming increasingly scarce and his creative designs offer innovative and at the same time astonishingly simple solutions, such as the ultra-flat secretary, "Flatmate" or the picture frame/wall secretary "Flatframe".
