Meet the designer Felix Stark
The designer Felix Stark was born in 1976 in Bonn. In 2002 he completed an apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker and then began to study industrial design in Cologne. Since 2004 he has run his own industrial design office and is also a lecturer at various academies. His designs have received numerous awards, such as the "Red Dot Award" and the Federal Prize "Die Gute Form".
His style is characterized by a matter-of-factly elegant form. Felix Stark works according to the motto "form follows function". His models are characterized by a puristic style. For the designer, it is above all important that the shape of the product fulfils a certain logic and at the same time distinguishes itself through aesthetics and innovation. He is convinced that a holistic view of a product is important. From a sustainable function to the end of the life cycle. Thus, an aesthetic and functional design is created by taking into account the individual needs of the users and the demands placed on the product.
